What kind of music do you people listen to, or your favorite band or person?

I like k-pop(korean pop), punk rock, jazz, and whatever Taylor Swift sings. I like Taylor Swift(duh), Marianas Trench(Canadian punk rock bank, yes something good actually came from Canada), for Jazz I like Benny Goodman and Kenny G. My favorite korean groups are, SNSD(Girl's Generation) and 2NE1(Yes is pronounced twenty one). Yes I have a very peculiar tase in music, I have no idea how I got into jazz, probably because my middle school band played so much of it. Also I'm willing to listen to classical music, the only thing I can't listen to is Country, and Opera, oh yea Miley Cyrus and the Jonas Brothers too.

Heh, definitely with you on what you can't listen to.

I'll listen to just about anything, but the stuff I listen to on a regular basis is a bit diverse. I only have a 4 gig, but it has a huge playlist devoted to random European stuff like Quarashi, Royksopp, LadyTron, and Data Rock (though I put Daft Punk and Flogging Molly on there too). American wise, it's mostly nerdcore like MC Frontalot and Lars, plus John Mayer, Gorrilaz, the Strokes, Franz Ferdinand, and Cake. Though, my favorite band of all time is called Home Made Kazoku from Japan.

My all time favorite band is They Might Be Giants. The rest need to be broken down by genre.

Punk - Bad Religion, Rancid, Flogging Molly
Ska - Reel Big Fish, Catch 22, Less Than Jake
Heavy Metal - Megadeth, Metallica (before Load), Alice in Chains
Power Metal - Dragonforce, Kamelot, Sonata Arctica
Prog Metal - Dream Theater, Symphony X
Symphonic Metal - Epica, Nightwish, Leaves Eyes
Jazz - Bela Fleck and the Flecktones, Medeski Martin & Wood
Techno - Daft Punk, Chemical Brothers, Orbital
Indie/Alternative/Miscellaneous - Cake, Arcade Fire, Polyphonic Spree, Sufjan Stevens, Hum, Stars

There are a lot more because music makes up a very large chunk of my life, but these are the ones that came to me as I was typing. :-)

Isn't there a death metal band called Dying Fetus? I don't know why any band would want to name themselves that >_>
I began listening to Boys like Girls... Anyways who like Andrea Bochelli?

Yes, I believe I've heard Dying Fetus. And that's not the worst name for a band; I know one so bad I can't even post it here without feeling guilty that I posted it.

And I forgot to post my favorite death metal bands, which include Dethklok, Lamb of God, and Amon Amarth.

Never heard of Andrea Bochelli. I had to look him up. He has an annoying website, that's for sure, but I'll try to listen to some of his stuff later.

Because I listen to so many blind tenors.

...actually, that sounds like an indie band name: So Many Blind Tenors
